Perthro's Pagan Supplies started as a simple destash sale of piles of items I'd had stacked away, hidden in drawers and boxes from my days as a practitioner of eclectic paganism. I had boxes and boxes of candles, candle holders, stones, snuffers, and altar cloths; on top of that, I had boxes of beads of all kinds from a vast collection of jewellery-making supplies from a business venture that never quite went as far as I'd have liked. As I now practice what is sometimes referred to as "high magic", or pure energy work, I no longer needed them as frequently as I did ten years ago when I started. As such, I decided to let them all go.
Strangely, I had sold all of it within days. I was shocked! Locally, "alternate religion" stores have trouble staying open (frequently due to lack of sales). My new goal is to help some of these local businesses stay open, while providing inexpensive pagan supplies to anyone who needs them! Cultural and religious diversity is important, no matter where you live or who you are, and considering how restrictive some societies can be regarding the practice of any non-Christian religion, it became imperative that people be granted the not only the freedom but also the ABILITY to practice whatever religion they choose; accessibility to the items associated with these religions is a large part of this freedom.
At this time, I vend on this site as well as Ebay. Most of my items are random grab-bags (boxes, rather,) of supplies at competitive retail values. Every box is a little different: often, I try to include supplies for a little bit of all subjects (love, prosperity, protection, etc.) unless a specific request has been made. I take custom orders for anyone looking for specific items, or who would like a package which was built with a specific theme in mind. I usually ship Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and sometimes on Saturday. I strive for a maximum of 1-2 days turnaround time. When possible, I ship the same day an item is paid for!
Of course, I am always open to messages and questions. Over the past decade, I must have read hundreds of books on the subject of paganism, Wicca, and various other religions. I am happy to help out beginners- I was a beginner once, too!
